Development Cohorts

Training programs for current or retired Catholic public service members.

Collective training sessions designed to expose participants to what we have found most helpful for promoting a successful career in public service: fostering a proper sense of identity and remaining true to the faith.

Program Elements

Our training sessions incorporate the Sacraments, physical skills training, and lectures on timeless topics.

Firearms Proficiency

A hallmark skill within our communities. Many public service professionals get an inadequate number of repetitions and are often dramatically limited in their ability to design creative and challenging training by their organizations.

Our range sessions are designed by our most experienced shooters from the SOF community. They will expose our participants to a level of training most have never seen - all to better prepare them for whatever they may encounter in the line of duty and bring them home safe.

Submission Grappling

Providing public servants with the critical ability to control a bad situation without weapons. Our training is facilitated by some of the best Jiu-Jitsu coaches in our region and in consultation with Law Enforcement DTAC instructors at both the Federal and Local levels.

Our training will help increase our participant's self-awareness of their own abilities and limitations, thereby allowing them to the think critically under duress and make prudent use of force decisions.

Physical Fitness

The foundation of the career fields we cater to. We work with professional coaches to facilitate our training and conduct comprehensive evaluative sessions that measure strength, aerobic capacity, mobility and identify limitations. This data is used to help each participant determine long-term training needs. Furthermore, this helps to contribute to overall survivability, well-being, and long-term durability.

Wilderness exposure

Providing visceral interaction with God's first book of nature through activities such whitewater rafting, hiking, fly-fishing and skiing.

Time spent in nature helps to properly reorder one's perception of reality and our place within it. This can benefit mental health and help one recharge before the next mission.

TIME WITH THE BOYS

Authentic fraternity is built by overcoming shared difficulties in the pursuit of a common goal.

Spiritual enrichment

As the primary means of success for all human endeavors, we afford the opportunity for an intense indwelling of grace through daily prayer and access to the Sacraments.

We are blessed to have several solid Priests committed to supporting our mission through their prayers and advice, greatly contributing to our overall success.

"Sometimes I need to know that I have commonality with guys before I can do a deep dive into difficult questions of the Faith.  AC provided that context. I’m grateful for the opportunity to engage in the Catholic faith with other men while also improving my hard skills with them."
